Covergirl lashblast length is also good. MUCH more subtle but the brush is a bit easier to use. i don't use this very often anymore b/c it just takes too many layers and too much work for me to get my major lash wow-power that i'm used to with the regular one. (note, the regular is orange and this one is yellow. the purple is the 'fusion' and is sucks s***. it's too wet and wimpy)

The other covergirl mascaras that also have a rubber wand are about the same and maybe a bit less volume than lashblast but easier to use cuz of the brush size. maybe a bit less clumping, too. (but honestly, i rarely get clump. and if i do, i use a lash comb (MUST be metal): http://www.amazon.com/

I have not tried the 'eyelights' or 'natureluxe.' now that i've tried the rubber wand, i can't go back to regular wands. i desperately want to find an amazing regular wand mascara b/c i love the wand, but i just can't seem to find one that's good. i do like the neutrogena 'healthy volume' mascara, but it smears like crazy on me! although it's been several years and it may have changed by now...i might try it again just cuz i did love it before. it was great inky black color. also, i tried to fix the smudge problem by trying the waterproof--the formula is NOT the same!

Bottom line, any rubber wand mascara is generally good. covergirl makes some great ones that don't smear and last all day. i'm sure there are other lines that are fine, but i tend to stick with what i know i like. i've just never had great luck with maybelline, revlon, loreal, etc. i get the least amount of smearing with covergirl. and drugstore mascara is totally as good as dept store. esp since you have to throw it out all the time! i go through mascara more than any other product.
